turbo 350 shifter

I pulled the v6 and 700r4 from my 84 camaro.I installed a 350 and turbo 350 trans.I used the kit from B&M.My question is the shift cable bracket wont bolt to the bottom of the trans pan.the bolt spaceing is different.Do you have to modify that bracket or swap cables or something.

I'm guessing that you are talking about using your stock cable bracket, if so the hole spacings are wrong on the th-350, I had this same problem when I switched my car over from a v-6 to a v-8, I just ordered a b&m bracket from jegs, it was somthing like $15 I slid my cable through bolted it up to my pan, and havn't had no problems with it yet.
