Confirming busted T5

Just looking for a little confirmation that my T5 has taken a huge dump. Nothing works but 4th gear. Not even reverse. Was originally hoping it was something like a shift fork but since I don't have reverse.......anyway....

wow thats a huge dump

seems like everything failed

the reason 4th works is because thats direct drive

sorry to hear that man

it should be pretty easy to rebuild though

i havent done a T5 yet, but i have done other manual trannies at school..............took me about 3 hours with all the right tools at my disposal

good luck

the gear on your counter shaft has exploded, and fourth is direct drive therefore you still have it.

Just an update, you were all right. The first gear on the countershaft was spun completely smooth. It even hogged out the case about a 1/4" all around. Nasty stuff. Got a new one from a good friend for a good price.
