Rebuild TH350 at home?
Anyone rebuild a TH350 themselves? Is it difficult? Any special tools required? Wouldn't mind picking up a TH350 and rebuilding it, as the one in my car is stock. I'd be doing it more for the knowledge, then for performance.
Thanks

yep, pretty easy. You need compressed air to stick into one of the plugs in the case to allow the rear drum & band to come out, other than that, it's just hand tools.

Get a copy of Ron Session's Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 Handbook.
Pretty good book for the beginning rebuilder. I get a laugh out of the lower right picture and its caption on page 156
