Is my trans running too hot?
I just wired in a trans temp guage and so far on warm days the trans gets up to 180*F
this seems warm to me since I have a trans cooler and a deeper pan installed. I'm going to be installing a 2400 stall converter soon so I'm worried the trans is going to run even hotter after that.

180* is about perfect. 200 is reaching the upper limits of normal operation. 220 is getting a little high. 230 seals start to cook. 250 oil starts to burn.
