700r4 Rebuild Kit Question

I have searched the Tranny forum and found that majority of people agree with Trans-Go shift kit. I know I will go with that but my other concern is that I first need to rebuild it. What kit should I get to rebuild the tranny? Any suggestions would be awesome. It is a 1992 Firebird V6, please dont get mad V8 guys, I love a V8 as much as the next guy but when your parents buy you the car you take what they give you and it has been an awesome car. I am looking to doing some work on this V6 so I want the tranny to be as strong as I can make it. My friend and I will be doing the work. He is a certified mechanic so I am not worried on difficulty. Thanks so much for any advice you all can give me.

Check out www.northernautoparts.com for a stock quality
rebuild kit by transtar. Good quality at a reasonable price.
They are located in Sioux City, Iowa. $102.00 for a 700-r4 kit.
