T/H-200C to T/H-350 swap on a 2.5 Iron Duke

I have a lil trouble here. I just bought a 1983 Firebird for my girlfriend. It has a T/H-200C transmission thats mounted to a 2.5 "Iron Duke" motor. Well the trans is lock up and fried won't turn at all. So I was thinking about dropping in a Chevy 350ci motor in it down the line. But she just wants to drive the car ASAP. I was looking into a rebuilt T/H-200C but Autozone wants $700 for one. So I figure since i am going to drop a hot rodded chevy 350V-8 in this car, that lil T/H-200C is junk and won't hold up to the power of the V-8. So I say if i'm gonna spend $700 I shoul just buy a stronger T/H-350 transmission. But I want to know if the T/H-350 trans will bolt right up to the 2.5 Iron Duke? Is the bellhousing too small for the T/H-350? To me I remember seeing a trans swap in a 84 S-10 pick up that had a Iron Duke and as I recall it did have a T/H-350. I am just asking for a tru answer before I spend all this money and my time on something that won't fit. So Please if anyone knows for sure if a T/H-350 (aka "Turbo 350") will fit on a 2.5 Iron Duke motor let me know. I need help! I'll appreciate it a great deal if yall can help me out.
