T5 cobra main shaft mod

I talked to hanlon today about my t5 trans. After watching their trans video I'm concerned that my main shaft snout is damaged. I have't pulled the trans yet due to 100 deg. weather here, but am going to pull it later this week. When I talked to hanlon they mentioned a "cobra" main shaft mod. What they do is grind down the snout on the front of the main shaft, and grind the inside diameter of the input shaft to accept a caged bearing. I own a machine shop and it's nothing for me to put the shaft on my lathe, dial it in, and grind the main and input shaft. Only thing I need is the bearing number so I can purchase the bearing and save the $240 that hanlon wants. Anyone know what bearing they use? If I can get this figured out, I can make a tech article out of it so everyone can save a few bucks. Thanks-Dan
