Sounds like a tranny mount. Get an Energy Suspension mount from Summit. Gaurunteed not to break and is only about $15 more than the "dimestore" mounts that break in 30 days...

30 days is an overestimate. Had one of the dime store mounts break in 2 weeks on my Nova.

2 weeks is an overestimate... I broke one once the very first time i let the clutch out after i backed down the driveway after installing it.

Get an eS one, problem will be solved permanently.

There's only one trans mount that fits all these cars, auto or manual, 82 up, doesn't matter what engine came in it or has been put in it since... it's the "one stud down" kind

I just use the old "That feels about right" for something like that. Just make sure you use lock washers. I don't remember if they include them.
