3/4 upshift sleeve/valve in valve body
3/4 upshift sleeve/valve in valve body
Which one is this when looking at it from underneath? I replaced this valve in my 700r4, but now we will be doing my buddies and I can't remember which one it is.
For some reason (without having a picture) I am thinking it is at the front of the valve body, closest one to the passenger side.
Any insight?

Do you have the GM "shift correction package" or do you have the Superior "upshift sleeve"? It makes a difference.
The GM kit replaces the 3-4 valvetrain. The Superior sleeve replaced the TV sleeve. If it is the Superior sleeve, then its the valve all the way on the right hand (passenger) side. You'll need to remove the TV linkage to remove the roll pin and if memory serves me, you might have to remove the Auxillary Valvebody to provide clearance. Never done them in the car, only while all apart... Sorry.

The 3-4 TV valve and the 3-4 shift valve, along with the sleeve, reside in the same bore of the Valve Body and are in the third bore from the left on the front of the VB as you are looking up at the VB from under the car while it is mounted on the transmission (left = driver side, technically the fourth bore if you count the manual valve but that one is in a seperate area).

Yeah... I guess it would be better put that way, but technically there are two more smaller valves on the passenger side that are closer to the passenger side than the 3-4 stuff, and some VBs have another bore between those two and the 3-4 stuff (I forget what it is for, but usually is just plugged) so I wanted to try to convey that.
