Whoa What Happened?

OK, I did a cam swap about a week ago. Put in the Comp 268 XE cam with a Stealth intake.
Before my tranny would slip real bad on the 1-2 shift. Also, when goin say 60mph in OD and I go to WOT it would stay in OD.

Now after the swap the tranny seems to be shifting a lot better, and yesterday I nailed it in OD and it kicked down into D.

What gives?

Sounds like a change in TV Cable geometry for the better? Or maybe your TV Cable was just out of adjustment and installing the new intake forced you to re-adjust it and now its OK. Definatly sounds TV Cable related.

The TV cable had been adj correctly by a mechanic before the swap, so I don't know if how much it changed.
