whats wrong with the tranny??? :(

I have a 91 rs camaro with a v8 in it, auto, now does this sound normal i am going on highway and if i floor it going like 60 and continue florroing it will continue to redline until i let off the gas, I am saying it will keep going to say 6500 rpm and then i get scared its gonna blow up and get off the gas when the car is in overdrive, in drive i dont have this problem as much

alright i figured out my 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd shift properly but its the 3rd-4th that i cant have at wot, i have to get off the gas so it can shift so what is it?

A full rebuild? If you have it out to replace the 3-4 clutches, why not replace all the other clutches and seals? You may as well go ahead and get it over with. I would NEVER put just 3-4 clutches in a tranny. If its got alot of mileage, then I'm sure there are other worn out components, and if it was a low mileage, then you need to find out why the 3-4s went out so early.
