Clang! Clang! Clang!
That is the sound i get if i make a hard left and accelerate or if i accelerate up hill. further inspection shows that the yolk is hitting the metal above it. also if i shift into gear it does not respond right away. if i launch from a dead stop somthing slams and if i launch at 1k rpms its fine. im not sure what i should replace

Trans Mount

I'd check the trans. mount. My car was making alot of noise when I first got it and thats what it was. That wouldn't cause the shifting problem though.

Yes it would cause the delay in shifting...look at it this way, instead of the force going to turn the driveshaft, it is turning the whole darn tranny..get under there and change the mount..buy poly and never have to change it again.
