Anything better than Hydraulic clutch set up for F-body?

Anything better than Hydraulic clutch set up for F-body?
Just wondering if theres a better set up than a hydraulic clutch set up for our cars. I just burned the second high pressure hose because its like 3-4 inches away from my headers. Any suggestions to protect it or do they offer different set up like cable, thanks
