ok guys i have a 3:27 9-bolt posi rear and i need to get some 4:11's or 4:10's wutever they have. well on diff-solutions they wunt 470 for the gears and the install kit. this seems completly rediculous and a huge rip off. now is there anywhere else i can get gears for this or do i have to take it out and throw it away and get a posi unit for my 10-bolt with gears. cause i'd rather pay 500 for a posi unti and gears for my 10bolt then 470 for just gears cause at least then i don;t have to worry about the posi wearin out. well thanks guys and whoever decided to put a rear that ucan;t get parts for in our cars shodl get slaped

 

The 4.10 gear set is $320.
The 4.10 gear set with a complete install kit is $445.
So, a 4.10 gear set, a complete install kit and s&h is ~$470.

Unfortunately, the parts are expensive because of the extremely low volume, not because of a huge markup!!

man i can;t even come close to bein able to afford that, i guess i have to get a slp posi and gears for my 10 bolt. life sucks don't it. i wonder how much a 4th gen posi rear would be

 

I know what you are saying about the price. I am going to probably rebuild my 10 bolt someday the way I want it. I can't afford this 9 bolt stuff. I just wanted the posi from the 9 bolt I bought, until I can replace the open diff and gears in my 10 bolt.
