T-5 not disengaging
ok boys this is a tough one, I am having problems with my clutch disengaging, it has a new clutch, throw-out bearing and pressure plate a year ago. the problem is intermitant. when we got under the car, the bell housing was flexing. but it isnt cracked anywhere. the pilot bearing was out .130 but even with the tranny out of it the bell housing still flexed when you pushed in the clutch. a local performance shop thinks that the crank may have to much endplay and is actually pushed back and is binding the clutch assembly. I am leaking oil out of my rear main seal....... please help guys.

well guys I got it figured out anyways..... turns out that the new clutch I put in a year ago had a defective pressure plate, all it took was a new clutch kit and I am good to go

Well that was easy...
I hate to just tell people that their "new" parts might be defective, they really don't want to hear it for some reason, but it happens. Everybody wants to find some other explanation, however improbable it might be.
Glad you got it straightened out.
