Lucas Tranny fluid.

Does this stuff work? My Iroc with 251,000 miles slips between 2-3. Would this help nurse it enough until rebuild time?

hey dude that lucas fluid is great i had a problem with my rearend one time the one wheel was spinning and the other wasnt. I went to the parts store and saw this little wheel with regular oil and on the other side the lucas oil.well i bought the lucas fluid put it in and my rear was spining both wheels and it even made it quieter and i never had a problem again.I say get it it works.

Yea the stuff works to a point. It did change the way my car shifts and did help reduce oil consumption in the 305. Just dont expect it to be more then a bandaid. If your transmission is slipping it will need a rebuild in the near future, But yes it does work and it doesent hurt anything.

I think your right it worked on my rear end but a tranny is a different story. so i would have to agree that sometime soon you will probably need a rebuild but it doesnt hurt to try the lucas first maybe it will buy you some time.

Well i wanted to it to sell the car. I think buying a little time is all I need. If I don't seel it I might just save up to get a tranny from BowTie Overdrives.
