does the trans go shift kit help 4th at WOT

Engine: 350 bored to 355
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.45
does the trans go shift kit help 4th at WOT

Just read the subject. I need a real 4th gear. I have seen the B4C package, the tap your valve body and put some bolts in there and cut them off, and the trans go kit.

I really like the ease of tapping the valve and putting those bolts in there, I am putting a link to the site where he did it.http://w1.601.telia.com/~u60113744/tranny_wot/tranny_wot.htm

Will this cause any bad things, or will I only have the advantage of a full 4th gear? What do you guys say...

It will not downshift to 3rd from about 70-75 mph at WOT with these modifications.

The kit costs me $17 at GM...

I dunno about you, but I would have another what would be considered a "stock" replacement on a B4C into my 92 Z28 5.7L TPI G92 rather than **** up "my" stock one, just incase i need to replace...

Im not doubting it works or it doesnt...i dunno, maybe i just got a little extra money...
