clunk upon acceleration (two clunks)

I have an 88 formula with a 305 and automatic transmission. The problem is that when I accelerate with the gas pedal about half way down, there is a clunk noise- and another when either the transmission shifts or when I let off the gas.
This will also happen when I hold the brakes, and press the gas (not even enough for the tire to spin). When I do this with the brakes, and the hood is open, you can see the engine lift up from the back and lean forward.
This just started for the first time today. I am not sure if this would be a mount or what. But I also am not sure if the engine leaning forward is normal or not, because I never looked before. I am guessing that it isn't normal.
Has this happened to anybody before? Or if anybody has some ideas, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jeremy
