700r4 Not shifting right

Today when I went to work my car was perfectly fine. I go to leave and put it in drive and the car starts to shake. Looked at the rpms and they were the same. I drove home and it was fine. I start it an hour later,drive it and it won't shift until around 4500rpm and then there is a huge jerk. The car revs really high when I am driving and I can't drive with it doing this. Here is some info on my car.
86 trans am
700r4
71,000 miles
Last year I had the 2nd gear clutch pack replaced by Pontiac.
Checked throttle cable. It was fine.
Car idles around 1000rpm and jerks when I put it in drive. I was thinking maybe it was the mount, but not sure.
Could there be any wiring or vacuum lines in my trans that would possibly cause this?
Im pretty sure that it is not a clutch pack or anything because the fluid still looks like brand new. Otherwise most likely it would smell burn or something.
Someone please help me out ASAP. My car is my daily driver and I need to get this fixed so I can drive to school and work.

Thats the valves in the trans right? If so, I had those cleaned 1 year ago so they shouldn't be stuck. One other thing, is there is now power between 1000 and 3000 rpm. I checked the throttle cable and it was fine.

is the TV cable @ correct tension? You might want to try transflexio's method!

ok well its a stuck TV you can try this

with the car off hit the gas peddle hard fast about 20 times or so then start it up when in park to the same but watch your rpm's jst a few times then drive is problems still presist you may need the upgrade valve you would have to drop the pan and replace it the upgrade Throtle valve has a small spring at the end of it , but try the first it will almost always free it up .

Ok, this is what I found. It was just hanging there. I don't know what it is, or what it does, but I think it may be the problem. If someone could tell me what this part is i would really appreciate it.

Ok, i found out that the picture I posted a link to has nothing to do with the transmission. I tried hitting the gas pedal really hard and fast and it didn't really work. I pulled the cable and that didn't work. I tried doing a brake torque and the engine revs up, but doesn't have enough power to spin the tires, sometimes. Also there is like a lashing sound from underneath my car by the oil pan and transmission. It also kind of smells like something is burning(like a tractor exhaust smell) Sometimes there is barely any power off of the line and sometimes there is. Either way it won't shift right. There is also play between 1000 and 3000rpm. The car won't have any pickup and then all of the sudden the trans grabs really hard. If anyone has any more suggestions please help me
