4th gen rear differences? LS1vsLT1vs3.8

What are the differences between the 4thgen rear ends? Are the LS1 car's brakes bigger than a v6 of the same year? Is the posi stronger? Did some of the 3.8 v6 cars get open differential's?

Does anybody have a picture of a 3rd gen formula with a 4thgen rear end?

What is a good price for one of these rears?

The 98 and up have really nice rear discs that are 11.9 inches. They have aluminum backing plates and are also a Bolt on for a Moser nine inch or 12 bolt provided you tell Moser when ordering. The calipers say PBR but are not the same as the 3rd gen ones. Also, the parking brake does not acutate the actual caliper but has a small drum actually contained in the disc itself. Pretty trick. I do believe that the 6 cylinder has the same brakes.

I believe that the 93-97 brakes are smaller. They will not easily bolt to a moser rear as the 98s do.
