4th gen rear ID question
Hey guys, I have the opportunity to get a 4th gen disc rear for my Iroc, but how do I know it's the real deal? (it's already been pulled from the car, car is gone) I know that they are a few inches wider than the stock rear, but does anyone know the exact measurement? Also, since it's a disc rear, and I currently have drums, what would I need for the conversion??(proportioning valve, e-brake cables, etc...) (I know this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it on the search)
Thanks for the help!!!!:hail:

Actually I just finished the swap myself.
How do you know its the real deal? If its got a torque arm mount and a 10 bolt cover, its an FBody rear. I measured my stock and the 4th gen rear and the 4th gen was 3.75 wider, axle flange to axle flange. Suspension all bolts right up, and so did the brake line. I got an e-brake cable from a junkyard 91 Z28, and it fit perfectly. Your 3rd gen wheels will stick out further, I can't tell you what it would look like though, I have 4th gen wheels.
