Can pressure plates be resurfaced?

i'm sure they could but it isn't done, just replace it and if you replace one part inside the bell replace them all

I've had a Ram clutch rebuilt. They surfaced the pressure ring and replaced the spring, painted and sent back. Was half the cost of a new one.
