Alum. Flywheel

Does anyone have a list of manufactors of alum. flywheel makers for 1 peice rear mains, and a t5? i went to the thunderracing website, and they show one, are there more than that, or is that the only company that makes them for our cars?

Centerforce; McLeod; Hays; and Fidanza all make aluminum flywheels. The one on Thunderracing is dual mass for a L98 Corvette. You would need a different Fidanza flywheel for a 3rd gen L98.
It is the one listed for a 1-piece rear main seal. Part Number: 198531

ok, so since one is listed as a 153 tooth, and the other is listed as a l98 aplication, can i assume that the flywheel used on the t5 in f-bodys is not 153 tooth? also the flywheel i saw on thunderracing, was listed under the 82-92 camaro section, so is that just a mistake on their webpage?

also, i have an l03, t5 combo, i doubt that would make any diffrence as opposed to a l98 but i want to make sure i am looking for the right thing, my new DF clutch should be here this week and i want to put a flywheel on at the same time.

thanks for the help in advance.

John

The 153 tooth is the only ones that will fit in the T5 bellhousing.
I'm using the Hayes #10-530, 30 lb Billet Flywheel with my DF and T5, $229 from Summit.
(Trans soon to be replaced w/ Tremec TKO)

Just looked at that page.
I'm at a loss. Don't know what the difference is.
They both must be 153 tooth, but not sure of the difference.
Call them.

10,000 RPM also make a worthy unit as well as the clutches that go with them.

When I ordered my Fidanza flywheel I actually called Fidanza and the information I gave you is the information they gave me. They told me that part number in question for our cars is the 1-piece and the other one is for L98 Corvettes. Dual mass actually means it is a thicker, heavier flywheel. IIRC. I have the regualr 153 tooth 1-piece flywheel sitting in my garage waiting to go in.
