How Much For A New 6-Speed?
i want a new 6 speed to eventully handle my 420hp 350 im gonna drop into my Z. how much is one gonna run me? any recomendations?
Aftermarket: $2100 on your door including shipping, almost a true bolt in replacement. Uses the T-5 clutch and bellhousing but you have to shorten the DS and TQ arm (about $60).
Stock 93-97: $1500-2000 shipped but still a used trans. Advantage is it uses a stronger clutch assembly, too bad it's an expensive assembly. ($450 est.)
If your going to use a 2pc rear main block your $ ahead with the new aftermarket box instead of having to buy a special flywheel from CenterForce for $250 (est.)
