tranny shift cable?

any way to tighten this so itll make the shift NOT ave the delay when you shift it manually? any adjustments you can make?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Which cable are you talking about, the gear select cable, or the throttle valve cable?

No matter, really, neither can be adjusted to accomplish this. The fix is called a "shift kit".
