I dropped my new engine in today. I tried it with the transmission attached first and I just couldn't get it in so I removed the transmission and it went in fairly easily. But now I have the task of getting my transmission in with my car on jackstands in my driveway.

What's the best / easiest way to install a transmission (auto) in a driveway on jackstands?

 

$ 80 Cheap trans jack from Harbor Freight Tool
Remove crossmember and your ready to go

 

i'd left it bolted the the engine, by far the easiest way to do it.
