Bad vibrations after trans swap.

Ever since I put the Tremec in my car I get a had a really loud and strong vibration coming from my shifter. This happened at around 3500rpm. Mostly I notice this vibration when I'm in 5th, going about/between 65-75mph. It happens when I let off the gas, still in gear and also even worse in neutral. When giving part throtle the vibration goes away. The vibration stops at higher speeds.
Most opinions I got were pointing to the drive shaft. I replaced mine w/an aluminum one out of an LS1 car and the vibration became much quieter and considerably less noticable but it's still there. I know the driveshaft definetely had something to do w/it. I'm thinking to have this new shaft balanced proffessionally but other then that I'm clueless. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

Mine has a similar problem.
Noise and vibration at about 70.
Picking up an aluminum driveshaft on Monday, since most have told me this will help.
Mine was there before the new trans, but is more noticeable since putting in the Tremec.

Yeah. The driveshaft helped a lot. I would say about 75% of the vibes are gone but w/the T5 it was really smooth and I'd like it back that way.
Anyone else w/the same kind of problem?

That's the thing, my new driveshaft helped. A lot!. But the vibe is still there, less than before but still there. I'm using process of elimination here, sort off. I know the driveshaft had a lot to do w/it. I'm gonna go to a place that specializes in driveshafts and U-joints. I've found out that there seems to be only one shop in NY(five boroughs) that actually ballances driveshafts. They also make/cut custom driveshafts. If anyone can solve my problem it's gonna be them. I think. If not then I guess I'm gonna have to live w/it.

i think all DSs need rebalance after changing to the tremec yoke

The LS1 yoke had a large ring on the outer perimeter. Im thinking that the elmination of that changes the balance significantly...

i got one hell of a vib that did not exist b4 the tremec.

My tremec was used.. and the yoke showed signs of slight wear. Im thinkin the imbalance is beating the rear bushing out of the transmission.

i used the same flywheel and clutch..

they were not removed and were balanced with the motor b4 it went it (and were fine with the T5).

The other point is,, the vibration gets worse at higher speeds (4thgear) not higher rpm.

Is this the same vibration even if you have the clutch pushed in? Maybe its the pilot bearing? just a thought

no vib in netrual or clutch in..

new u joint.. had to be to go from the C4 yoke to the LS1 DS.

I think Im going to have to pull the DS and check for balance first.. then if thats ok.. im probably going to put a new rearbushing/seal in...
