I'm probably going out on a limb here, and might be wrong, but the 4th gen posi's came w/ a Zexel Torsen Limited Slip, which that is NOT. The fact that it has pre-load spings, means its either an eaton or auburn posi. The only cars that came with those were the Firehawks and SS camaros, because they were installed at the SLP plant, which is why you can buy SLP Torsen "take outs" from SLP for $99 (because they removed the Torsens and installed Auburns (I think it was an Auburn unit)). With that being said, I don't think any Firehawks or SS Camaro's came w/ anything less than a 3.23 gear ratio, so its probably a 3 series carrier (I can't tell by looking, sorry). Other than that, it should work. The 4th gen F-bodies used a 28 spline 7 5/8" rear end just like your car. The only difference is the addition of teeth for an ABS sensor mounded on the differential housing, so it should work just fine.
