yea i know all about how weak these peices of junk are. well its only got 1400 miles on it with the 350 and 86 behind a stock 305 tbi so i thougth it woudl be ok for a while. anyways i just made this thing a little to extreme. i can;t afford 2 grand for a tremec or 1500 for a t-56. and the gas milage is also to horrible on this thing to drive it everyday so i am just gonna sell it and get somthing practical that can still have fun with. man i wish chevy knew how to build a car in the 80's, woudl have been nice

On my Hurst billet plus they say to back the stop bolts out, put the car into gear, bring the bolt up to touch the stick, then back off 1/2 turn and lock in place.

I agree you have syncro problems. Get it fixed now before you do any more damage. Gears get EXPENSIVE!!!!

And, you CAN rebuild a T5 yourself. It's not hard at all.

I'll fix it once and be done with it . Hopefully the TKO does it for me
