Can you mix different brands of flywheels and clutches? Like say I was (theoretically of course lol ) able to get ahold of a stock flywheel for insanely cheap. Could I use that flywheel with oh say a McLeod Street Twin Clutch or maybe just the single disk clutch and pressure plate? I'm new to the whole manual tranny thing so bear with me lol

You would need a Clutch application that accepts the stock flywheel.

With the Mcloud Twin disk, they machine down the flywheel, in order to fit all the goodies in place. Thats why its so expensive, plus i believe you get a hydraulic slave cylinder with it...

(at least for the LT1 equipped vehicles.)
