my car just wont shift right. my 700r4 tranny was rebuilt and had a stiffer 2nd gear installed along with a corvette servo. i got a sonax tv cable corrector but my transmission guy said he ordered the wrong detent cable. then i called gm and they said they had 3 different lengths and they had no clue what i was talking about. i swapped my 305 with a 79 350, installed headers, kept the old intake manifold, and i have an edelbrock 600 cfm carb. what tv cable do i need?? anybody know the length or part number or anything? i tried adjusting the one i have now and when i do the directions like it sais on this site it shifts way too late, my transmission guy had to rig it up a little to get it to shift half way right but there is no kickdown at all.
