trany cooler idea

I just happen to be looking at an old dehumidifier that the coolent had leaked out of and I was looking at the "heat exchangers" if that is what they are called. They are about the same size as a trany cooler I had put on one of my other cars. The tube diameter is the same diameter as my trany lines.

I will try and get some pics of one so those of you that have never seen inside of a dehumidifier can more clearly see what i am talking about.

What do you guys think? With some high pressure hose and a few cable ties to hold it in place, do you think it might work?

If you are running hard on the race track the factory method of running through the radiator is not acceptable. You need an external cooler. Best is to go with a huge external cooler and not run through the radiator at all.
