B4C police transmission

What do the B4C transmissions have different than the standard automatic 700r4 transmissions?

The word Police options (B4c) had nothing to do with the 700R4
transmission.

i know that the police camaros, also known as the b4c package, could shift into overdrive at fullthrottle so the cops could catch criminals at high speeds, lol. What do they have that i dont that enables them to do this?

A different 3-4 shift valve and a TV plunger bushing that has a very hard to get 4-3 downshift or eliminated 4-3 downshift passage.

MY 85 iroc is able to go into overdrive at wide open throttle, even when it had the stock tranny it could. Now it just has a rebuilt 700r4 and it still goes into overdrive at WOT and when ever it goes into second it barks the tires.

'87 and prior 700R-4 trannies would shift into overdrive stock. Thats one of the "features" or "quirks" however you want to call it, of the "first design" valvebody.

my tranny must have had something wrong with it then.......my car would shift down out of overdrive at around 1/2 throttle...........pisses me off cuz even if im killing a car by 4 car lengths they end up pulling on me and beating me........

I own a B4C and it does NOT shift into overdrive at WOT, I have to let off and then it will go, there is no magic B4C transmission.

the lack of down shift from 4-3 I believe has less to do with the year of the car both whether or not it was tpi I remember some blurb in a hot rod tach article a few years back that explained the difference but I have no idea what it was and for the record the 87 700r4`s do kick down at half throttle because mine does and its out of an 87 astro

The only difference between the police trannies and regular trannies is like a $20 part from GM that helps prevent high-speed downshifts from OD into 3rd. Don't know the name of it but it goes in the valve body and you can pretty easily install in another 700r4. B&M markets a similar product, but it still won't hold OD at WOT, maybe like 3/4 throttle. The GM piece is better.
