Need Help. Can't decide on torque converter

I've done search after search and can't decide on a torque converter. I'm want at least a 10" one if not a 9.5" I will be wanting a 3000rpm stall. and one that will make my car run fine on the highway(lockup one right??) so anybody that knows of any under $600 or so please post here.

thanks

Josh

85 TPI mods in sig. I'm trying to decide also between a few different converters: SLP 2400 stall 12 in, $300.00 / GM S-10 2000-2100 stall 12 in, $250.00 / A.C.T. 2400 stall, 9.5 in, $565.00. These are all lock-up TC's. I've heard the A.C.T. 9.5. in performs as well as a Vigilante for less, and is available in stalls up to 3500. I wonder if on a "stock" 305 its worth going for the A.C.T? Anybody know this?
