Hey I was just wondering when I should change my transmission fluid, is it like every x amount of miles or what. Thanks alot.

 

Depends on who you ask.

My expierience has been that if the car has high miles on the tranny, and the fluid hasnt been regularly changed to begin with, then dont change it out, atleast dont drain 100% and replace it...do like 50%.

every 30K is a good idea

 

If it looks good (red not brown), and smells ok (not a burnt smell), and the transmission still shifts fine, leave it alone!!!
