pics of 4th gen rear on third gen
I am thinking about running a 4th gen rear end from a 2000 SS, and I would like to know if anyone has pictures of a Third GEN with a Rear end from a 4th gen????

not for sure, but i would guess it would look pretty much the same as a thirdgen rear with discs, but a little wider from axle flange to axle flange. also maybe a little different sway bar or mounting for sway bar

Imagine your tires sticking out almost 2" too far on each side.
That's what it would look like.
Of course, if you used 4th gen wheels with a pair of spacers on the fronts, it would be exactly right, just like it is now.
