difference between v6 and v8 t5 trannys?

I've been told that the clutch assembly is different for the v6 and v8 t5s, but what exactly is different? I assume it has a different bellhousing, too, but am I correct in that? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The bolt pattern on the back of the motor is different, so the BH is different; the bolt pattern on the back of the crank is different, so the flywheel is different; the 6-cyl clutch has 14 splines where the V8 has 26, so the clutch gear ("input shaft") is different; the gear ratios are different, with the 6-cyl having much more widely spaced ratios to allow the car to get out of the hole at least in the same calendar day that the driver lets the clutch out (usually), while the V8 one has closer-spaced ratios so that the engine can stay entirely within its max power band all the time.

Other than that, they're exactly the same.
