Ok, I think I have this figured out. I'm putting in a "Painless" harness, and am looking for where to hook the VSS (purple and yellow) wires to. The tranny is out of an '87 firebird, electronic speedometer. Had the cc LG4 engine.

The car is about an hour from here, so I'm trying to plan my weekend project by memory and photos. I beleive I have a connector plugged into what I have labeled VSS here. (Possibly for electronic speedo?)

And finally my questions
1) Do I seem to have this picture labelled correctly?
2) If I have an electronic speedo, would splicing the painless VSS wires into these wires do the trick for the ECM?
