Slammin tranny

I have had some work done to my tranny, trans go shift kit, super servo, sonic boost valve and probably other work. My mechanic hooks me up so who knows? Anyway when i am on the highway doin 90 and put it to the floor "WOT" it down shifts and feels like a car hit me in the *** end " Revs up and slams into next gear " so I let off. What would cause this?

From: working at a horse farm, gonna go to somerset county tech. inst. in january.
Car: 87 GMC sierra classic
Engine: fresh 350, minor mods (its been de-emissioned too)
Transmission: professionally re-built 700R4, REALLY hard shifts & bigger clutch packs
assuming you have a TH700R4....
this seems to be a common problem at all speeds, and would just get more severe with higher speeds and RPMs. the only thing you can really do to avoid it is to SLOWLY push the gas, not slam it down. by the time youre almost down to the floor, the engine's RPMs are too deep into 4th gear to make it want to down shift.
as for the sudden jerk you talked about, thats a combination of the shift-enhancing mods and high RPMs.
