Where is the VSS in the 4L60E? andf other questions.

Where is the VSS in the 4L60E? andf other questions.
Just wondering if it comes out like the one in my old T5.
Also, I read that the 4L60E has 4000 pulses/mile.
Is that the same as a 700R4?
I want to know if I can tap into the VSS wires from the 4L60E and hook them up to my VSS buffer box on my 86 so that my speedo will work.
