AHHHHHHHHH tranny still leaking.

I recently installed another 700r4 in my car. The tranny is fine but I cannot get it to stop leaking fluid. I thought it was leaking from the dipstick tube because that is the general area it is leaking. I also thought this was it because my stock tube broke and im using some truck tube that doesnt fit right.

So wednesday I ordered a lokar flexible dipstick tube. Installed it yesterday. At first no leak I was happy. Now its just as bad as before.

I know it isnt the front seal. 100% sure of that. I replaced the pan gasket plus its leaking higher up than that because its managing to hit my dual exhaust.

It could very well be the tranny lines. How do I go about sealing these better? They are tight but still might be leaking.

I made sure I put the little grommet back in with the TV cable and I tightened it done snug. I dont think thats where the leak is coming from but it could be.

How can I go about sealing those tranny lines? Teflon tape?

if it uses an o ring they are very easy to cut when you install the dip stick. recheck it and make sure the seal is good.

il try that. It came with 2 o rings on it. It also tells you to rtv it at the base of the tube so I did. I guess ill pull it out tomorrow and see if the o rings are intact,
