One question & one problem
Well for the question, I am trying to install my trans cooler but I don't know where to install it. I saw on a site someone recommended on here how they did theirs but there was no condenser like there is on mine. I am thinking of trying to hang it off of the two brace bars in front of the condensor. Is this advisable?
OK, for the problem, when I installed the trans a few weeks ago I guess I didnt tghten up the two lines the go in to the trans from the radiator. Those lines are leaking a little, enough that I can smell it when driving and a noticeable loss in fluid. I cannot get a wrench on it for the life of me, any hints on tightening them without dropping the trans?
Chris

#1, I put my tranny cooler right there on the AC condenser. I had to lift the radiator to put the ties through the condeser because they would not go through both. it fits just fine though.
#2 Use CROW's FEET on the tranny lines. It took me two days to think of that. I just installed my tranny this weekend. If you don't know what a crow's foot wrench is, it is a wrench that has a socket right next to the open end wrench head. It works WONDERs. I took the top line off in about 5 minutes with no hassles...but I had the tranny lowered just a touch.
If I can get a pic of the cooler, I'll post it. It fit just fine though. Mine is 3/4 of an inch thick

Hmm, yes a pic would be great, I think I know what you mean about the cooler mounting. I actually took my radiator out to clean it off and all. Amazing the amount of crap that builds up between the rad and condenser.
I never thought of a crows foot, and I even work at sears in the tool area. I will pick one up tomorrow and give it a shot.
Thanks,
Chris

Well, I've got two pictures that I took the other day with my parents diggy camera, but they are 1.25 megs each. I need to take them to school to try to resize them. Paint just won't resize them. They are from the top through the air filter holes. I never thought of takin a pic like you did from under the car.
I'll see what I can do tomorrow.
