a new problem , i just cant win!
ok heres the deal,i swapped the 700r for the 350 today . got everything hooked up just fine. when i started the car ,tranny fluid came pouring out from behind the torque converter.
the guy i bought the trans from said the front seal was new. so i didnt bother to change it.
he had alot of trannys laying around ,is it possible that he gave me the wrong converter? everything bolted in just fine,so i dont know if that could be the problem or if the seal got damaged somehow.
i had gears before i noticed the fluid so i doubt that the tranny is bad, although i didnt get to drive it.
anyone who has any ideas ,by all means ,lets hear'em.i know i have to rip it back out no matter what and that sucks ,but atleast maybe i can get some pointers on what to look for once its back out. thanks
