Will it blow?

Hey guys I really need some better tires. My car won't hook.
So I think I'm going to run some et streets. My question is will my 10 bolt blow? I'm running low 14's. I am planning on getting a ford 9" but I just can wait.
What do you guys think?

it will live as long as you don't go with a big-mombo tire

get an aftermarket torque arm also...
factory sucks.

Oh for sure I will. But I'm eventually getting a 9" so I'd have to order it for that rear end. I just want it to hook up a little better for the time being. And seeing how I'm not making huge power yet (evil laugh) I just wanted to know if it would blow the rings.

Oh I forgot to mention I have a TA performance diff girdle with studs.

Well, the LS1 cars run 13.2 or so off the showroom floor on the exact same rear end without too many catastrophes; so I'd say if you're as slow as low 14s, you don't have too much to worry about, as long as you're not running a real high stall and a trans brake with wrinkle-walls, or you avoid clutch dumps and speed shifting.

You can tear up a rear end with a 6-cylinder, or you (I) can make it last behind a 400. Driver's choice.

you should be good to go.... its when you get into the 12's running slicks that you run into drivetrain issues for the most part.
