My first tranny in my truck had 213,075 miles before i pulled it to put a more reliable tranny behind my 383. My new tranny has 27,000 on it. Both had B&M shift kits and corvette servos.

 

When my old 305's oil pump went bad and fried the motor the tranny had 218,*** + miles on it and i never had any prob with it i just put a bottle of lucas tranny fix in it just to do it and just made it a tad smoother but never had any probs with it before or after. we will see though when i put my 310 in though how long it will hold up

 

107,000 miles and its still looking good. However i just rebuild the motor and alls i did to the tranny was add a corvette servo and changed the fluid.

time to kill the old bastard

 

im waiting for mine to die im sure not long after the motor is broken in ill start having tranny probs because i havent got to drive the thing since january and i miss it. but im gona take it and get it flushed and fully serviced and add a transgo shift kit and posibly stall but once it breaks im gona swap to manual i think

 

mine just went with 140XXX miles on it, but its prob. cause i am stupid and decided to see if it could take a neutral drop with my foot to the floor

 

I know this is a different tranny, but I have 189,985 on my tranny without any fixes. It is a four speed, and the engine was replaced in 92 but the tranny is still going strong.

 

197k miles on a 1983 700r4... Blew up at 197500.. literally... little chunks and pcs lol

 

87 IROC TPI 251,000 miles on original tranny. Car is daily driven in rought driving (stop/go) driving 64 miles round trip a day. Still hanging in there.

 

mine has 140,000 and has had only one fluid change and has been abused the whole time i have had the car and its still haging in there.

 

89K and I beet the pi$$ out of it with the 383. Still chirps 2nd gear.

 

85 iroc 305 tpi 171,000 trouble free miles about 3 0r 4 transmission filter changes. the only other trouble i have had out of the car in 17 years is alternator, water pump, fuel pump. electric radiator fan, thats it besides the normal maintenence items. i guess this is the best car i ever owned.
