3.73 - 4.10? whats necessary?
i have a 1988 trans am stock 5.0 tbi. i would like to change my rearend gears but dont know what to do. i did a search and most people said 4.10s arent good for the stock 305. what would i have to change to make it rev higher? are 4.10s harder to swap than 3.73's? id like to do this as cheap as possible. thanks

ive decided im gonna go with 3.73s. how hard is it to install/align properly. should i do it or get it done. thanks
you would have to get your speedometer readjusted
go to 700r4.com for that, reminder- you need a drive and a driven gear, and itll help you figure out what gears you need on that website
and when i get mine done, i plan on going to a shop, jus my .02
