tranny swap clarification
Swapping a 700r4 from a firebird with a 2.8L V6 into a TA with a 305 cannot be done due the the bellhousing difference correct? Not even with any adapter out on the market. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

There may be an adapter for it (700r4's don't have separate bellhousings), but I wouldn't recommend it. The internals of 60* v6 700r4's are different than their v8 counterparts. Not only will you be swapping in a unit not equipped to handle the extra duty of the v8, but I'm guessing the unit is used as well??
