Lokar TV cable problems
I recently purchased Lokar billet throttle bracket and braided throttle and TV cables for TPI. I installed them and set my TV cable to shift under normal throttle at 2700rpm and it worked fine after sitting over night i drove it, it first shifted at 4500 and slowly decreased to 2700 again after the car got warm. I dont think it is the cable sice heat should not affect a mechanial device. So what would be causing this problem.
Also is after i get this fixed is thier a way to adjust your WOT shift and not mess up your normal throttle shifts. Because when shift under normal throttle at 2700 it only shifts at 3900 at WOT which is way to low when i manually shift it i shift it at about 5500-5800rpm to achieve best acceleration.
I haven't reprogramed the computer but that shouldn't affect should it.
Thanks for your input and please repley if you have had any problems whith Lohar cables.

TV cable adjustment
TV should be be adjusted so the TV plunger is flush with its
bushing at WOT, and not as a way to set shift points. Check
out www.tvmadeez.com's TV System 101 for more info. You may need a governor recalibration kit or other VB mods to get it to shift where you want. A line pressure check as described in the factory service manual would also be a good place to start as
low line pressure at WOT can damage your tranny.

You answered one question but you never answered why it shifts at so high of rpm when its cold. Shift points shouldn't change almost 2 thousand rpm because the tranny is hot or cold. TV cable is set right and works perfect when tranny is at operating tempature. Please reply.
