external tranny cooler question

external tranny cooler question

ok so what goes where.....what i i mean is, which line is the tranny fluid entry, and which is the exit, on the radiator, .....top is entry, bottom is exit?? just hook the external tranny cooler up like that????

Yep. Many people disagree on what if the best way to install a transmission cooler in conjunction to a tank cooler. I personally use the coventional (correct) method, mostly..... Top line to radiator leave alone. Cut the bottem return line and run it to the external cooler top feed and run the external cooler bottem return back the the transmission return line. Some people like to have the trans warm up quicker but want the extra fluid capacity so they run it the reverse makes no sence to me.
