Replace 4L60E with 700r4??
My bro totalled the Camaro 
but he found another one that just needs a tranny...but its a 93, so it has the 4L60E. Is it possible to replace the 4L60E with the 700r4 from the 91 RS?

His '93 should still have a 700R-4/4L60. The F-bodies weren't supposed to get the "E" version untill '94. Look to see if the one thats being replaced has a four pin connector on the drivers side (indicating a 4L60) or a 20-pin connector on the passenger side (indicating a 4L60-E)
